May 29 - Theme: Memorial Day


In honor of Memorial Day, what are three things that we can do to honor those men and women who died while serving our country?  Please be descriptive in your response and write at least 1/2 of a page.  This extra credit is due by the end of the school day on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

Theme: May is National Bar-B-Que Month



What's your favorite picnic food? Do you like hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, or something else entirely? What makes it so special? Write a paragraph planning the perfect backyard barbeque. What is on the menu? Who is invited?  What type of music is playing?  What activities are people participating in? Also, include a recipe of a picnic food that you have not made but would like to try sometime. :-) This extra credit is due by the end of the school day on May 22, 2017.
